Upon arrival at our private heliport in Fiumefreddo di Sicilia, you will be greeted with a welcome drink and a briefing with your experienced pilot.
Then you will fly to the north side of the volcano to discover a breathtaking view of the municipalities of Piedimonte Etneo and Linguaglossa as well as the majestic coniferous forest and ancient lava flows.
As you ascend, you will be amazed by the unique view of the ski resort of Piano Provenzana and the flows that formed the series of craters called "La Bottoniera".
At an altitude of 3500 meters, you can admire the whole of Sicily, the Aeolian Islands and Calabria. The descent along the rugged side of the volcano will allow you to enjoy a unique view of the city of Catania and the gulf from the ski resort and refuge of Sapienza.
You will also fly over the ancient extinct craters of Silvestri and the vast valley of Bove before observing the 2002 flows that destroyed the village of Zafferana Etnea.
Finally, enjoy the view of the vineyards and lush crops before returning and landing at the Fiumefreddo heliport where you can relax in our large private pool (free of charge) solarium and enjoy our bar and catering services.
