Departing from Tobias Bolaños Airport in San José, fly to the west over La Garita de Alajuela, San Pablo de Turrubares to fly over the Carrara Nature Reserve.
Then head towards the coast starting with Herradura, Playa Escondida and Punta Leona, then to the Tarcoles River and up to the bridge. On this river, discover the crocodiles and the beauty of the area up close. The Tarcoles River is the largest river in Costa Rica and the one with the largest population of crocodiles in the country. Every day, dozens of crocodiles whose size is around 5 meters long and 500 kg gather under this bridge.
