Description
The Epic Summit Tour takes you over Lake Abraham and up the Cline River to its source, fed by Lake Pinto.
Lake Pinto is fed by glacial meltwater from the Minister, Mount Coleman and Cirrus mountains. As you gain altitude, you'll see the valley with its orange-red, iron-rich mountains.
At 3,048 m, you'll have impressive views of the Continental Divide and the Columbia Icefield. Following the mountain range, you'll reach Mount Wilson (3,206 m) and its glacier, the Wilson Icefield. You will then fly over the Michelle Lakes, divided by a 15 m waterfall, at an altitude of 2,299 m.
The adventure continues with Mount Cline, one of the few peaks over 3,352 m east of the Continental Divide. Next, you'll discover six majestic glaciers: Cline, White Goat, Lion, Lioness, Resolute and Hanging Glacier.
Finally, after rounding Purple Mountain, you'll fly over the aqua blue waters of Lake Abraham before descending to the Cline River valley and returning to the heliport.
